Where to Begin?

I know I've been a slacker when it comes to updating this blog. So here is my big update. There is so much to update on that I'm afraid I'm going to have to section it out.

Home: We are unpacked and I even (finally) decorated this week! Everything I do to improve the way my home looks makes me feel so good. I've never "nested" in a home, because I've always knew it wasn't REALLY mine.....so why put forth the effort? This one is mine, and I plan to live there a very long time...so nesting I'm doing.

Personal Life: Single and loving it. I have no interest in anyone and I'm happy to keep it that way. Jeff and I have agreed to file for divorce next month, when we are best suited financially to do so. We are doing extremely well with having a friendly relationship...and for that I'm very grateful.

Kids:

-Jewel is turning 18 tomorrow!!! She is returning to SM East as a "super senior" ....that means she flunked 12th grade to be blunt. I'm proud of her that she is taking responsibility and going back. She is doing really well and I'm really proud of her development.

- Lizzy is getting ready to turn 13. She is very much a "tween". Still a reading fool and still being a great kid. I have FINALLY paid off her violin (3 years!). She is starting middle school in a few weeks.

-Chris turned 9 June 21st. He is going to start at a new school in a few weeks. He just finished out his baseball season with a 2nd place World Series finish. That is impressive! He is no longer on that team and is taking a step back and re-joining the team he played with the season before last. It'll be less stressful for everyone involved.

Dog: We got a new dog. Her name is Trooper Grace. Trooper is the name she came with...I added Grace because it makes her sound like a girl. She's a GREAT dog. Part Beagle and part Weiner Dog. She's 12.5 lbs. I love her to pieces.
